Thanks for visiting my little piece of the world wide web!
This website is my space to write about topics I care about (like web development, economics, and politics).
I currently have the privilege of getting to work as the developer of plot.ly, the flagship marketing site for Plotly, a leading provider of free software in the data visualization space to large enterprises like Apple, Genentech, and Shell.
Prior to joining Plotly, I was based in Belgrade, Serbia, where I worked for the non-profit organization Open Communication, organizing parliamentary debate seminars throughout the Balkans. I learned a bit of Serbian (zdravo!) and took graduate classes in Southeastern European Studies at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Political Sciences.
I had moved to Belgrade after spending two very cold years in Ithaca, New York, where I studied to get a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at the Cornell University ILR School .
While at Cornell, I recieved a full-tuition waiver and stipend in my capacity as the Research Assistant to the Director of the Cornell Speech & Debate Society.
During my time at as the team's coach, we enjoyed the honor of being ranked first out of 900 institutions worldwide in the the International Debate Education Association's annual rankings.
I play Starcraft 2, the only video game that matters, and really, really, really like David Bowie's music.
I was born in Burkina Faso, and raised in both the Ivory Coast and the United States of America.
Although I am a U.S. citizen, I currently reside in Canada.
